Cancellation of Real Reindeer at Woodcote Green for 2018

Dear Customers,

Following recent media activity around animal welfare concerns involving captive reindeer used for public display, Woodcote Green has taken the decision to cancel plans to have reindeer at the centre this year and in future.

We appreciate this will be disappointing to many regular visitors, as the reindeer have been a very popular festive attraction in recent years. However, the overriding consideration should be for the animal’s welfare and we sincerely hope all our customers will respect our position and responsibility to do the right thing.

If you require any further information regarding this statement please feel free to make contact to me directly using the email address below.

Thank you for your continued support.

These vouchers can then be exchanged by the school for credits to spend on gardening equipment and plants.

The Previous 10 years has seen a great response from schools, with membership now reaching well over 200 across an area that covers 3 counties allowing access for nearly 70,000 school children to horticulture and all that it can bring to their education.
